KEEPIN THE SOUTH ALIVE

HEY EVERYONE!This is the first ever BACKWOODS BLOWOUT. It is going to be at the sweetest skatepark in Alabama thanks to our friend Dewey. It is his private park and he is letting us have a bad ass competition there. There is a lake right beside the park to cool off in, fish, or ramp into to! We have had other events in Alabama such as The 3 Magic City Showdowns, which was a street competition, and we had a BBQ that a lot of peop…le attended. Hopefully we can turn this into an annual event if this first one goes smoothly. We will be having a warm up session Friday June 10th. The actual competition will be June 11th. It will be $15 to enter the competition and $5 to skate. We will have about 40-60 people attending this year. The contest will be judged by some old school heads and the heats will be jam sessions. There will be plenty of beer drinking and BBQ-ing throughout the whole weekend. We are hoping to get some food and drink sponsors so there will be plenty of good food and drinks. The after party will be at Charles Dunkle’s house, which is unfortunately about 35 miles from the park. It was either that or try and campout at the park, but we figured people will want to shower and sleep in a bed/couch. There will be plenty of places to stay but if you would like to rent a hotel room we will have a list of close hotels. If you have any more questions feel free to text or call us…Mike Buckalew205-215-0959Philip Moore205-746-9462
