KEEPIN THE SOUTH ALIVE

OLD AND UNUSED WITH TRACE TAYLOR

The wildest Bill i ever met, getting nasty with a dead crow and a royale to gap. I can’t wait for Tough Stuff 2 so i can witness more of this guys shredding.

HEY EVERYONE!This is the first ever BACKWOODS BLOWOUT. It is going to be at the sweetest skatepark in Alabama thanks to our friend Dewey. It is his private park and he is letting us have a bad ass competition there. There is a lake right beside the park to cool off in, fish, or ramp into to! We have had other events in Alabama such as The 3 Magic City Showdowns, which was a street competition, and we had a BBQ that a lot of peop…le attended. Hopefully we can turn this into an annual event if this first one goes smoothly. We will be having a warm up session Friday June 10th. The actual competition will be June 11th. It will be $15 to enter the competition and $5 to skate. We will have about 40-60 people attending this year. The contest will be judged by some old school heads and the heats will be jam sessions. There will be plenty of beer drinking and BBQ-ing throughout the whole weekend. We are hoping to get some food and drink sponsors so there will be plenty of good food and drinks. The after party will be at Charles Dunkle’s house, which is unfortunately about 35 miles from the park. It was either that or try and campout at the park, but we figured people will want to shower and sleep in a bed/couch. There will be plenty of places to stay but if you would like to rent a hotel room we will have a list of close hotels. If you have any more questions feel free to text or call us…Mike Buckalew205-215-0959Philip Moore205-746-9462 View high resolution

I wouldn’t recommend watching this before you go skating. Not the most motivational thing to watch before blading.

I found some old edits on the computer and decided to post them. A good bit of the footage has already been used in other stuff but oh well. Enjoy.

MATTY SCHROCK

X-Rated and Matty just pumped out another awesome edit. enjoy.

Lately Southern Legacy has been slacking a little bit and we apologize for that, but things are about to change. Mike Buckalew has decided to let me help out with doing updates from here in Tennessee. The scene in Nashville has completely changed since I moved back from Birmingham. People have finally started to take initiative and make sure that we do things together as a scene. Whether it’s blading, partying, or just hanging out. We have been blading almost every day since I got back a few weeks ago so be expecting more regular updates with photos and edits from us here in the future.
